North End Band and Violin Ensemble, Mr. Byers, Director

North End Band and Violin Ensemble each help students learn the necessary technique and self discipline to produce music on their respective instruments. In the band and violin group, students learn the concepts of melody and accompanimentas they play and listen to musicians around them.     The teamwork and cooperation skills learned here  are very useful and valuable for application in academics and daily life.  Several performances during the year add enrichment for the  performers and audience.
