Reading is the key to success!

What do ELL teachers do?

As ELL teachers, we teach language as we teach social studies, reading, math, and writing.  We work with classroom teachers to give the students additional help with language, content, and test-taking skills.

ELL teachers at North End are teaching:
  • science
  • social studies
  • reading
  • writing
  • and of course, ENGLISH
ELL teachers at North End are very well-rounded in a variety of content
areas.  We teach ELL and non-ELL students.   We may be teaching early
American history, how to write a research paper, or experiments with
solids, liquids and gas.  Ask your student about what they have been
learning about with Ms. Kloster, Ms.  DeAvila, or Ms. Storhoff.
