- When a student receives EBD (emotional/behavioral disorders) special education services he or she may be scheduled, at a specific time during the school day, in the EBD resource room. Individual times are specific to each students individual education plan. During their time in the resource room students work on individual education goals.
- Students participate in strategies that will help them to organize their day as well as to self-monitor personal behaviors that will help them make successful choices contributing to success in the academic environment.
- Some students utilize the EBD resource room to fine tune specific academic skills when one on one tutoring is available. Others remain in their classroom with support available as needed by special education staff.
