First Grade: Balance and motion are the new topics. We are making and observing things that roll, fly, spin and rotate. Second Grade: Solids and liquids and gas are the topics for these young scientists. We have also learned a catchy little song. Third Grade: Rock and roll! It is all about rocks and Earth Science. Fourth Grade: Magnetism and electricity are the next topics. Fifth Grade: Magnetism and electricity are the 'current' words of the week! Next time around it will be all about forces, motion, levers and pulleys. Sixth Grade: We are mixing it up with chemistry. Once we master the 'basics', we will be ready to make candy and apply what we know.
